2023 Hyundai Kona Engine Options
When it comes to engine power under the hood, the Hyundai Kona gives you the advantage of choice, with two powertrains to choose from. The engine varies based on which of the four gasoline-powered trims you choose. The Kona SE and SEL trims come with a 2.0L engine delivering 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque while the N-Line and Limited trims come with an upgraded 1.6L turbocharged engine that offers 195 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
2023 Hyundai Kona MPG by Trim
The Hyundai Kona fuel economy numbers differ based on engine and drivetrain. While there are the two engine options we discussed above, there’s also the choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, depending on how much traction you want on the Minnetonka roads. This makes a total of eight Kona combinations, each of which offers slightly different MPG ratings. We’ve listed all the relevant numbers below:
