Only Hyundai Motor America can offer a CPO Powertrain Limited Warranty on a Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle. All Hyundai CPO vehicles are:

  • Inspected by technicians at Hyundai dealerships to a 150-point factory-specified Hyundai standard
  • Backed by Hyundai Motor America
  • Include the remainder of the 10-Year / 100,000-Mile CPO Powertrain Limited Warranty

 

COMPREHENSIVE 150-POINT INSPECTION

An extenstive 150-point mechanical and appearance inspection, performed by your local Hyundai dealer, makes certain that each vehicle meets Hyundai CPO program standards. An Inspection Check Sheet is strictly followed to ensure consistency so no item is overlooked.

A CARFAX© Vehicle History Report is generated as Item #1 of the inspection process to help ensure that the vehicle you’re purchasing doesn’t have any past problems such as accident or frame damage, lemon law history or odometer issues. Vehicles not meeting or exceeding all Hyundai CPO program standards are excluded from the system.

In order to meet the rigorous standards of the CPO program, Hyundai factory-trained dealership technicians put each vehicle through an exhaustive series of examinations, scrutinizing all major vehicle systems to assure reliability, quality and customer confidence. Up-to-Date maintenance services are performed with checks made to all vital fluids, tire tread depth and brake pad thickness. Any component that does not meet Hyundai CPO standards is reconditioned or repaired. Any component that cannot be repaired is replaced with Genuine Hyundai parts.

  • Emergency towing to the nearest Hyundai dealer, accidents included
  • Battery jump-starts
  • Changing of a flat tire
  • Out-of-fuel assistance (up to 3 gallons)
  • Lock-out assistance
  • And trip interruption reimbursement

Roadside Assistance coverage is 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week and 365 days-a-year and is available by calling 1-800-243-7766.

  • 24-Hour Roadside Assistance: For minor mechanical disablements such as a flat tire (with your good spare), out-of-gas or dead battery, and for emergency lockout service
  • Trip Interruption: Should a mechanical breakdown of a covered part occur when you are 150 miles or more away from home, you are reimbursed up to $100 per day, $500 per occurrence.
  • Car Rental Reimbursement: Up to $35 per day for up to ten (10) days on a covered claim.
  • Towing Benefit: To nearest Hyundai dealership, no cost cap applies.
