Software Update - “All Day”?

Scheduler told me it was “all day”. My husband took off work to drop car off night before and next day to pick up. I got 2 texts and 1 email from different people at very different times saying car was done. They only needed about an hour, I would have waited! Instead of driving from Chaska and Eden Prairie with my husband. When I arrived to pick it up, I was given the paperwork and key and said it was parked just outside. I wandered around and didn’t see my car. Another service asked me if I needed help, took my key and hit the panic button a couple times to try to hear it. Nothing. He went in some back lot and finally brought it to me. While everyone is super nice, it just seems there is conflicting information in the service department. Thank you...

I even noticed it was washed after even though the car wash was supposedly closed. These guys go to bat for you!

My car's transmission went out, and brought it in to be covered under a 3rd party lifetime powertrain warranty. I was nervous because of all the horror stories you hear about claims being denied for some various reason or other. So you can imagine my relief when Phil called to tell me they worked it out with the warranty company and I was getting a brand new transmission put in! I should have known better than to doubt Morrie's - best dealership group ever.

Good Service - Poor Communications in Scheduling Appointment

I would suggest not using all of the automated texts and emails, all they have done is add confusion to the whole scheduling & communication efforts. Case in point, one sets up the appointment to use the valet service where in the dealer comes and gets the car and then returns the vehicle when the service work is done, and then you receive an email that the work is done and you can come pickup your vehicle ! Now you wonder are they going to bring my vehicle back or not. Or you originally schedule an appointment and are told to be sure to have the car to service center by 9:00 am because it is going to take all day to do the recall work, then you schedule the car to be picked up with the valet service and they schedule a 10:00 appointment; And then you get an email that says your appointment is confirm for 1:00pm - what about needing all day to get the work done.? Phil Carlson was very responsive. Andrew Parisse has yet to respond to one of my emails - his emails and texts simply add to the confusion. I can't rate the Quality of the Work, I have no basis to make an evaluation - I have to assume the work was performed properly.

Went into Morries for an oil change and tire rotation. After quick, efficient service, the oil change was completed and was told a tire rotation wasn’t needed. Saved $40.....thanks for the honesty Morries!!!!! Also looked at a new 2019 Hyundai Hybrid.... with Will Tipping. Very nice, helpful and thorough!!!!

Happy with my purchase

I had a very attentive and considerate sales person helping me (Jacob) and a large team of managers supporting him. I’m very happy with my purchase and know that I can go back at any time with questions. Only feedback I have is that the entire team was emailing, texting and calling me way too much. The constant checking in quickly became annoying. I understand the need to stay in touch but that did not help me make a decision to buy. If anything, it made me think twice about it.

I bought my car at Morrie’s Subaru, and have had my buy happy oil changes there before. However when I called this time I was told I had to go to Morrie’s Hyundai location now because all service deptartments only handle their specific brands. I think that is an odd an inconvenient rule—but that’s fine. The centralized calling center to ask about appointments was not helpful and a poor customer experience. So, I just stopped into the 394 Hyundai location to see if they could fit me in for a drop-off, unscheduled oil change. Phil was very nice and accommodating, and they fit my car in faster than expected. However, whoever filled in the “inspection” of my car during the oil change service must not have actually inspected it. I had a headlight out, and my wiper blades were shot. I knew that already and replaced them that same day myself, but the point is that when the technician put green on those items, I no longer believe or trust the green on the other items. Again, Phil was great and I appreciate the team fitting my car in, but the experience on the phone with the centralized scheduling person and the inspection from my service were very disappointing.

25K maintenance

Normally great service. Have been taking my cars here for service for the last 9 years. This time I again scheduled service via the online method, and selected the 22.5K maintenance package. I only received the oil change and multi point inspection. No air cleaner replacement or cabin filter replacement. Also selected to”wait” for vehicle. After about an hour, was told that my car was ready. I responded “That was quick”, and left with my car. Didn’t notice until looking over the paperwork that I only got an oil change. One other thing to note is that on the past 3 visits(two being “valet” pickups, I still received voicemails after 4 pm that my car was ready to pick up even though I had valet’ed twice, and driven the car Home myself the other time hours before. Seems like some miscommunication at the dealership as to when the vehicles have already been picked up.

Morrie’s is UNRELIABLE, absolutely do not recommend

My experience with Morrie’s started in June 2019, when I started to lease my new car. In short, Morrie’s is extremely unreliable, and the staff really do not care about you once you are out of their sight (literally). My car salesperson, Joe, never followed up with me that there had been an error in my lease, resulting in zero communication regarding when payments were due - it turns out there was an error in Morrie’s system, and I found out only after 7 calls to Hyundai Motor Finance to investigate the lease, and 5 calls to Morrie’s, stressing that my payment would be overdue when it could have been solved with simple communication from Morrie’s. Upon bringing my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance, Phil (who was responsible for my case) attempted to make charges to my account which were supposed to be covered under my car plan, and only took off the charges after asking him to double check what was covered under the lease plan I purchased. I could really go on, but this is unprofessional behavior that really is not excusable, especially for a car dealership. If I weren’t stuck in a. 3 year lease with them, I would definitely choose to bring my business elsewhere. Please, do not do business with Morrie’s. I would really appreciate it if Morrie’s would step up their game.

The staff here is great. Everyone is extremely welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They made everything very easy for me. They do things quickly and do them well. When going in for an oil change, they also filled up my tires, reset my clock for me, vacuumed and wiped down the interior of my car, and gave it a car wash. They take care of everything!

Superior sales reps at Morries 394 Hyundai

We worked with Cesanne on deciding on a new Hyundai SUV. She has a wealth of information ready without having to look it up. She was thorough, went on test drives and answering questions along the way. Further excellent decision help was given by Ryan from the front desk. We made our choice on a new Hyundai Santa Fe and thought we were done but then by working with Peter in finance we were very pleasantly surprised in finalizing the deal. We had a question on winter for mats and that is where we met Mark in the parts department to answer that question. After all this we were taken to the service desk where we met Phil who gave us great assurance for further service work. All-in-all the people at Morries 394 Hyundai are top notch. We highly recommend them!

Good customer service for overlong appt.

I brought my car in for a tire patch and an oil change and was told it would take an hour, an hour and a half at the longest. When no one came to let me know what was going on after an hour and a half, I checked him at the service desk and saw that my car was still up in the air with the tire off. The agent told me he would check on my car and let me know what was going on. When he didn’t check in with me after 15 minutes, I checked back at the desk frustrated to see my car in the same position. He could see my frustration, told me they had gotten behind, and then comped my oil change and reduced the price of the tire patch. I appreciated this compensation in lieu of the extra time I had to spend at the dealership.

Usually this location has professional interactions with customers however on this specific instance when bringing my car in for an oil change and tire rotation I was told a completion time of approx. 45 minutes to complete it When it was obvious work was finished and the display screen said it had been ready it took over 30 minutes for the customer service representative to indicate and communicate to me that the car was ready. In addition the service representative was less than friendly on this occasion.

My only complaint would be the two texts, one emails and three phone calls letting me know my SUV was ready to be picked up. One call or text is all I need.

Overall, I had a really pleasant experience having my 2011 Hyundai Sonata serviced. Phil did a great job of explaining things and offered to schedule another warranty covered repair on the spot. The only negative thing I have to say is the front inside of my car was dirtier than when I brought it in. I understand things needing to be moved around, but it was definitely noticeable that the air and cabin filters had been examined because the dashboard was quite dirty, Nothing a quick wipe with a towel that I had in my car couldn't take care of, just something that could've been noticed and taken care of.

Lack of Communication from the service advisor’s Car was in the shop for an engine replacement very little contact. Tried calling multiple times phone would ring get past to customer service representative who then sent an email to the service advisor still no call back Left voice mail no call back. When I did get a hold of one of the advisor he told me the parts are on order. Then get a call first thing the next morning saying car done. Not the best customer service.

I had scheduled an appointment for a thud sound in steering wheel but then also had my check engine light come on a couple days before my appointment. Dont like the upsell

I have the drive happy package so that I dont have to pay every time I get an oil change. They tried to charge me $98 for a break pad cleaning and inspection. That is terribly irritating to me. I drive a long distance just to go to Morris this honestly made me reconsider my drive.

I went in when I had some dash lights come on. They listened to my concerns and were eager to help make sure everything was right. They got my vehicle in, and figured out what the issue was. A cool feature that they offer is they send you a video of the mechanic walking you through and showing you what they found while explaining what you're seeing. Phil at Morries 394 service counter always gives his customers top notch services with thorough work. they completed the recall service and checked blinking signal light that’s been acting up. He notified me light bulbs are good but it’s the wiring needs to be checked. I’ve set up another appointment for that and I’m confident they’ll find the problem and fix it right. I brought it in to Morrie's 394 Hyundai because I had taken it somewhere else for service and they said I needed a tranny flush service (even though I had one 10,000 miles ago) and my husband and I had been hearing a knocking from under the front end somewhere. The tech said he didn't hear anything. Sam, the Hyundai service tech, found a broken inner tie rod and now the knocking is gone. We also looked at the tranny fluid and it was clear so it did not need to be changed. I'll stick with Sam at Hyundai from now on. He was awesome and so were the service writers!

I did have a good experience with the service department. I just came in for an oil change on a Saturday afternoon and it was less than an hour which was great! I did have an issue with a sales man at this dealership though I want to mention quick. Well I was waiting for my car I just wandered around the sales floor a bit and I asked if they still sold the Hyundai accent I currently own. The sales man was just rude and abrupt and put down the Hyundai accent saying that sure they still make them but they don’t sell them there because they just don’t sell well it was just kind a smirky and rude about it I was pretty disgusted. I first went in and told Phil of my oil troubles. He respectfully listened and has so helpful in troubleshooting with my Santa Fe. After a diagnosis was reached, Nick also stepped in. Nick has been patient, understanding and so helpful to resolve the issue. I have been on roller coaster with engine troubles, needing a rental, a tow and another rental! Nick was in constant contact with me letting me know what the next step would be and then swiftly took care of everything! Phil and Andrea have also been instrumental in resolving this issue, going above and beyond with diligence and outstanding customer service. They have all LISTENED to my concerns (many times) and worked together to reach a resolution. Andrea contacted me personally to reassure me that the situation would be resolved in a timely manner. Their level of professionalism and compassion is absolutely outstanding. I am thankful. I rely on my car so much, and when you are in limbo it is so difficult. I just purchased my vehicle and we found the blind spot detection system stopped working and the Android auto app wasn't working at all. They made it easy to fit my schedule. Last Visit

I scheduled a Buy Happy oil change which was confirmed when I arrived. I would just have to pay the difference for full synthetic. It would have been nice to know that I don't have any Buy Happy oil changes left? I paid just over $40.00 which I assume is the cost of a regular oil change. I should've gone to Phil. He hasn't ever charged me that much, and usually has an update on my car. I drive a Toyota, and I know there are things that Morries just hasn't been able to fix. I'll start getting my services at the Toyota dealership. Lastly, I'm not sure if they car wash system has been updated? I used to be able to go through two or three times, but now I can only go once... I always seem to get stuck behind the slowest person that ends up taking half of my time in the car wash.

Phil barely paid attention to me. I asked questions and tried to have a conversation but he was too preoccupied with his fellow co-workers. They were talking and making jokes with each other while I was trying to figure out what my car needed. He also did not honor the price of service that was showed when I scheduled the appointment through the blue link service. It felt like a bait and switch. For these reasons I will not be back for service. I will find a more honest and friendly service center.

Regular maintenance - Yeah I appreciate the fact that even though this was just a regular maintenance oil change that they did a really nice job of cleaning out the car and doing some extra perks. Fender flap fix

Phil the service writer was very helpful and got me in right away. I had to have the plastic flap that goes around my wheel well replaced as it got cracked and was rubbing on the front tire. Phil got my car in the next day and it was done by noon. My only complaint was they did not wash my car as they usually do. I give them 4 out of 5 stars.

Bad experience.

This is the 1st time and i doubt will come back again..the experience I get was downright rude ..I have been a loyal customer since 2015 ..the service advisor was extremely rude when I went back and ask the black spot on my Driver aide and he shut me off saying that our technician put a mat on the seat ..that’s fine and possible but you need to listen to my side of the story and I don’t he did that .

Got my car back in a worse condition

My car went in for an oil change. Get it back and they tell me about what needs to be fixed. One is a cap that is missing. I wouldn’t have misplaced the cap. It was their negligence that the cap was missing. Next my car stalls on me that same day. I have it towed back and they tell me nothing is wrong with the car even though it stalled on them twice during testing. I won’t be bringing my car back to this location. Very disappointed in the service I received. My car was perfectly fine before bringing it in.

wasted 150.00

I went there for one reason, I had a software issue from what I read about hyndai( they all have knock sensor light issues) I hoped to have update software, instead they just ran a chk engine diagnostic to tell me what I already knew and didnt do what I specifically asked for. if they wernt going to do the software they should have said something. so 150 spent for a diagnostic and recommendation. to fix a knock sensor wich was never the real problem to begin with. I dont care that accent is the only one not to be recalled it still has the same problem as the rest. just give me what I ask for. the service guy is nice rhough. at least I get a 150 car wash. o wait I bought my car there so that's already free.

I was blown away by my last experience at this dealership. After nearly 190,000 miles, my Sonata would not start and after taking my car into seeing the service center, they were able to get my engine replaced under warranty and secure me a loaner car for the duration of the repairs....which was about a 6 week timeline. No one was there when I got there at 6:50 for my 7am appt. When I picked it up at 2:30 was told no one had gotten to my oil change yet. I didn't get out of there until 3:15 so I was stuck in rush hr traffic.

Unnecessary trips to this dealership

I have enough situations in my life. That's why I chose to purchase a new vehicle although it was costly to prevent unwanted trips to car shops for car repairs. But that seems not to matter these days. A 2016 hyundai engine goes out due to our pan screw loose. Complained about but it was overlooked and shone off as it would eventually stop dripping. Noooooo it didn't. So much to this story hit me up if you care to hear the rest totally ultimately lost faith in this brand. And then you give me attitude and dancing around in conversations playing games and laughing behind my back and in my face ain't cool but karma knows all yall address lol

Is it asking too much to be called by my preferred name and the name I introduce myself as instead of my full name which pops up on their computer screen? Also, I mentioned that I didn’t need a reminder email and next thing I know I got an email and then a phone call and then a text! Lighten up, Francis! Unless I work with Phil Carlson, I don’t feel as valued as a customer. Phil is a superstar! On this visit I was in for an oil change and quoted an hour. It took 90 minutes but I’d rather they take longer and get it right than rushed and done poorly.
