Worst car buying experience.
Worst car buying experience. Kept me waiting for over an hour “to speak to finance” when I was paying for the car in cash. Forced to watch upsell options, when I said I didn’t want them. Car was not ready when promised. Had to have hail damage repaired and they damaged the car - scraped paint, chipped paint, ripped the clear coat - so had to have my new car repaired further. Car was supposed to be detailed and it was brought to me filthy, with all sorts of small debris on floors and in the trunk and dirty cup holder. Still don’t have my car. But they cashed my check right away. They are trying to make things better, but none of this should have happened this way. Would never buy from here again.

Very slow. Takes a minimum of 4 hours to get a car. They lie, they try to sign you up for extra insurance that you don’t need.

Modern, clean and welcoming dealership. Kid friendly with an area just for them to keep entertained with coloring books, snacks and cartoons on TV. Fresh coffee, refreshments and snacks for us adults as well. Our sales guy Andrew was always available if we had a question and followed up every step of the way when it was in transit.

Financing portion of transaction took WAY too long. We communicated that time was limited, but felt that request was ignored. We expressed a preference for paying cash, so it was very unreasonable. Dealing with Cezanne Martin was a joy, and she did her best to extract us from the financing piece of the deal.

Very disappointing.
Very disappointing. Was working with a salesperson who said they were going to run the car out to us to have us test drive, after I told him we were very interested. We had finalized price and discussed how I was going to pay them cash. He got tied up with a customer all day and didn't make it out to us. (Let's see, maybe find someone else in the dealership that isn't doing anything and have them run it out to us.) That same night, the car gets sold out from under us. I had asked about putting down a deposit, but another gentlemen that I spoke to said, no that we had to look at the car before they'd accept a down payment. How about first, going to the first customer that was interested (me) and saying that they had another interested party and that I would have to put a non-refundable deposit down sight unseen, if I wanted the car. Communications across their sales group is obviously not good. Huge disappointment after spending a lot of time searching for this car. And of course they have nothing else comparable to offer us.

Sold used car with winter tires and one key and did not disclose. Kept trying to sell a windshield protectant and inflated the registration costs to try and bury the windshield fee in there. Withheld the final cost until after registration. Were flexible about waiting for banking transfers though.

I had my Hyundai Tucson serviced at the Morries on 394 in St. Louis Park, MN. recently The service rep. told me my car would be available later that day. She then called and said it wouldn't be ready to pick up the same day but said it would definitely be ready the next day. I returned the next day, and it wasn't ready. It wasn't ready the next day either. Nobody called to tell me it would not be ready. I called and left message with the service manager 2x and she never called back or messaged me in any way. I'm very unhappy with this experience! Very poor customer service. I will go elsewhere!

I was told to schedule an appointment for a recall on my car, and that the parts were ready for the recall. I was called by Morries a day or two before the appointment to remind me. I rearranged my work schedule since the appointment was on a weekday morning. But when I got there the part was not there and they could not do the repair. The technician did offer a credit which is good, but I think Morries needs to improve their inventory system and ensure that when a customer is coming in for a repair that requires a known set of parts, those parts are there, and if they are delayed or unavailable, the customer is called and the appointment is cancelled before they show up to the dealer.

Lousy! Period. Went to look at new cars. Wanted to stick with the same sales person from beginning to end, but was tossed around from one to the other like rotting meat. I even told them I would like to buy in cash and was ready to buy. Didn't seem to make any difference. Had appointments with sales person, who never showed up. The last time I was there (The place was not busy at all) The sales girl went to check with management on something, never came back, sent a different sales guy to help me out. Gave me some xx excuse why she could not return. I would't spend a dime there and will not ever go back. Still without a car, but will find one elsewhere.

Overall it was a good experience, I wish I would have known that the vehicle did not have the latest version of Ford SYNC installed I might have spent a bit more to upgrade the system. Other than that I thought the salesman was great and the buying experience was pressure free. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family who are considering a new vehicle.

I had my 2018 Santa Fe diagnosed at Bay Hyundai in Panama City as the camera wasn’t working. They diagnosed I needed a new camera and charged me $196. I had to return to MN prior to the camera being available. I asked MY CAR GUY in Shorewood to order the part from you and install it. Turns out BAY was wrong, it was a bad wire in the harness. They asked you if they could return the camera and you refused. Now I’m stuck with a camera and still need to order the harness. Can you help? Hyundai USA case number 23342217 told me to contact you directly.

I have lost confidence in Morrie’s 394 Hyundai and the
I have lost confidence in Morrie’s 394 Hyundai and the service department and would not recommend it to anyone I know with the lack of follow up, omissions and service professionals that do not seem to know how to listen and act on customer issues. Let me start at the beginning. Our salesman is a typical car salesman trying to please the customer and make a sale with the most commission he can. Nothing that I would not expect except for I expected a little more haggling on the price (there was none) but that’s okay no matter what I would feel that I was taken advantage of and overpaid. When it came to the finance person (your second salesman) I did not expect the hard sell on the extended warrantee. I had to refuse the warrantee four times before she let it go and just let me buy the car. She also glossed over the free oil changes (she said 3) with no details During delivery the navigation screen (map) was dark. our salesman and I tried a few things that did not work. Our salesman stated he would investigate and get me a solution. After a few days I got an email stating I left a voicemail later last week regarding the map darkness. I have an answer for that and would love to sit down again with you to fix that and answer the more questions. I received no voicemail but I thought ok memory lapse. I contacted him since he had a solution. The solution was things we had tried during delivery and they did not work. I contacted our salesman stating that and I had a few other concerns. The lane departure did not give an audible warning. The auto headlights were continuously on. The dash lights were what I considered dim. I suggested that the navigation screen, the auto headlights were continuously on and the dash lights were what I considered dim were related to not sensing that it was light outside. Our salesman agreed there was something wrong and would have service look at it but disagreed that these things were related or connected. A loner was arranged and my Santa Cruz went to the shop. I got a text from Kelly in the shop saying there was nothing wrong along with a video of him walking around the car showing me it was fixed along with a statement that the car was working according to factory settings. I asked what the video showed me and got the response this showed the lane departure was fixed and the other issues were not issues and working within design parameters. I am not sure how a video of the exterior showed any of that. I asked if the map showed daytime illumination – radio silence. I asked our salesman if he agreed it had been fixed. He stated he was not notified it was fixed and would check into it shortly. That was at 9 am this morning. At 1 pm I called our salesman asking for an update radio silence. I called again at 4:45 still no response. Our salesman stated he would rather not call to say he had no update so he did not call When I did get a response, I was told the car is still showing nothing wrong and that the car was working according to factory settings but hey were contacting Hyundai for guidance. They did trouble shooting for three days with Hyundai corporates guidance. The last message I got was they were told to trace all the wiring. I am not sure if this was done but the next message was low and behold it was a sensor that was not properly connected. It was a sensor all along exactly what I suggested when this all started amazing. Our salesman said it would be two days to repair the sensor since the Service manager was going to do it himself – two days to replace a sensor and he would check on it when he got in on Monday. I have asked several times how this sensor could show it was fine during the scans and never got a reply. Well, the car was finished in one day and I got the car back. The issues seem to be fixed but I am not sure I have total confidence in the car. Our salesman called wondering if I had heard anything about the car before he went to check to

I received an email advertising a 2025 Ioniq5.
I received an email advertising a 2025 Ioniq5. I previously looked at the 2024 Ioniq5 2 weeks earlier and decided I wanted 2025 model. The email advertisement said the car was $15,000 off. Sales manager would not honor the price. I called to set up appointment that evening. Salesman said nothing about the car not being available. I told him that the 2025 is what I was interested in. When I arrived, the salesman I was working with said, "the car wasn't avail". It was ordered by another customer and we could only look at the outside. The dealership new 2 weeks ago the car wasn't available. The 2025 models they were receiving were preordered. Why would they advertise a car that was preordered. I think this was the 1st or 2nd 2025 Ioniq this dealer has received from Hyundai. You can't tell me they didn't know. My 3 issues are- 1. They wouldn't honor the price as advertised. 2. The car advertised was never even available. Very misleading. 3. The salesman I spoke to on the phone could have told me it wasn't avail. I wasted a trip. Below was part of the email they sent.
